A single-operator jib arm with a 1.5m – 6m reach, packed into two bags with a total carrying weight of 35kg. It can go where no crane has gone before. Totally portable.

Mounted on a remote pan & tilt head is a mini 3-CCD broadcast-quality Toshiba TU61 camera (750 lines). Polarity has an anamorphic lens adaptor available for 16:9 wide-screen productions.

Polecam can be attached to the body by way of a harness, which has been designed in conjunction with a registered osteopath to aid weight distribution and portability. It can also mount on any tripod, dolly or vehicle - virtually anywhere.

The lightweight nature is due to a radical redesign of the concept of a jib arm, including materials used in construction as well as the latest camera technology.

Polecam provides smooth, floating jib arm shots, with the ability to relocate with ease. Relocation time is as long as it takes to walk there, be it up some steps or even in and out of a boat - quicker and easier than a conventional jib.
